Photography.

I’ve been off to photography in the last few months, I actually have been taking photographs for a few years now, but at this time it’s when I really decided that I was going to improve my style.

I started searching through the internet for simple tips and started shooting a lot of meaningless pictures just to get some directed practice.

I also gained some experience in optimizing pictures making them look more professional and more satisfactory J .

I will share a couple of pictures, one of them I shot before I started knowing some important stuff about photography, but then a great photographer I met on
TrekEarth community, made great optimizations to the picture, with my recent simple knowledge I had it further optimized. The second picture, is one I took and done a few simple adjustments on, on my own.

"View 800X600"

This photo appears in it's original version if you scroll down to an older post in the blog titled "Rawshé Rock, The Rock of love or .. Death!" It was pramarily optimized by the great photographer Enrique Sallent By applying the following techniques with adobe photoshop.

- Made horizon line parallel to frame.
- LAB mode, to enhance earth tones
- Curves to improve shaded areas textures
- Added gradient filter to enhance reflection on the water
- Levels to improve clarity
.
I further did a small adjustment with curves to reduce redness in the photo, I think it turned out looking much better after that.
.
The next picture is one I took about two days ago, I called it "Cloudy night" or "Sleeping in the clouds", where the crescent moon appeared beautifuly with it's light reflected from the near clouds, I did a very slight amount of adjustments, in fact I just edited the levels to gain a little more clarity, and it turned out like this:
.

"View 800X600"

I hope you liked them, I will work on shooting better photographs in the near future and show them to you.

Thanks for passing by,
All the best,
Mohammed Hasan.
